LOCA Champagne Brunch and Annual Meeting

The public is invited to a fascinating LOCA Art Talk and the best brunch in town - with an Italian twist! Headlining the event is pastel artist Dawn Buckingham and ceramic artist Mike Tauber. They will discuss their recent experience as exhibitors in spectacular Sorrento Italy, as they represented for the Dana Point Sister Cities International Association. The group exhibit was at the Sorrento Foundation Center, a 17th century cloister in the downtown area.

Partygoers will enjoy bottomless champagne and mimosas, and a buffet of homemade gourmet foods influenced by Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, and its aromatic lemon orchards. To round out the fun, LOCA will offer a live auction for a unique LOCA art experience, a silent auction for gifts and dining experiences everyone will want, and a festive "wishing tree" activity, whereby supporters may donate any amount, and hang a decorative tag on the tree to mark the donation. "Our members are very important to LOCA, and we are grateful for everyone's support!" said Carla Meberg, LOCA President. "We can't wait to toast each other in Laguna Beach and celebrate the culture of Italy!"
